We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we keep and why, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

Listening and likes

Your browser stores a random ID that is not linked to your name, email or phone. We use it to count plays, how much of an episode was heard, likes and downloads, and to remember where you stopped listening. Clearing your browser data resets it.

Site analytics

We use Umami, which we host ourselves. It counts page visits, the referring site, country, device type and browser. It does not use cookies or build profiles of individuals.

Email subscribers

If you subscribe, we store your email address only to send new-episode emails, through our email provider Resend. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all emails.

Offline downloads

Downloaded episodes are saved in your browser on your device. We can't see them.
